Kim Barrick - Still Life in Oils Workshop - October 2010

ONLY A COUPLE OF SPOTS LEFT!!!

Kim Barrick and I finalized her October workshop we had to reschedule from May.  It is Thursday through Saturday, Oct 7-9. Class will be from 9-4 (1 hour break for lunch) each day. We are holding a get-to-know-you social Thursday from 4-6 with wine and cheese for Kim and class participants.

This workshop is focused on still life in oils. If you've seen Kim's work, you know it is wonderful! Best of all she gives a lot of technical information.  I've heard all great reviews on her teaching style too! She will do a short demo at least 2 days, critique on Satuday after lunch. Cost is $350.

(I'll be taking the class too...we'll learn a ton and have a blast!)  This class is limited to 8 participants so call me to sign up 423.648.0533!

Class supply list can be found at

Also, we have enough easels and tables for everyone at the gallery.

Susan Doubleday Pastel Workshop this week

Susan Doubleday taught a wonderful workshop this week! I hope all of the participants had as much fun as I did! We brought our pastels and paper and created wonderful landscapes and still life "paintings" for 3 days. Susan has agreed to teach again later this spring. I'll let everyone know the details as soon as we set a date!
