New works from Lisa Staggs

Lisa Staggs delivered new works to the gallery last week. As always, the work is absolutely beautiful and her framing choices are perfect!

The color of the birch trees is wonderful (shows so much better in real life). The frame is this beautiful wood frame.

This little water piece has great lighting.  Lisa said this might be her favorite piece ever!

Lisa Staggs & Erin Chapin in the Chattanooga Times Free Press

I hope everyone saw the Arts section in Sunday's Chattanooga Times Free Press!  Great article by Ann Nichols on the summer show.  We got Erin's paintings last week and Lisa brought hers yesterday.  I can't wait to get them hung.  Erin brought several new pieces from her bird series.  She'll be bringing in new pieces from her koi series in the next couple of weeks.  I'm looking forward to seeing these!  Lisa brought new pieces painted in Sequatichie Valley.  Her paintings are lovely and I love the frame selection.  Stop by and take a peak!

Another note....The funny thing about the presentation in the paper is that Lisa's piece is a 5x7 and Erin's is a 24x36....

New Artists - Lauren Ossolinski and Lisa Staggs

I'm excited to welcome to new artists to the gallery....Lauren Ossolinski and Lisa Staggs. Kim Barrick introduced them to me. Love the new work! These are past students of Kim's so you know the work is rich and lovely.

Kim and I discussed workshops and demos at length. We are planning a workshop for April timeframe. It will be an introduction to oils, focusing on still life. Call me and I'll put you on the list. 423.648.0533
