WTCI - An Artist's Eye

Mom and I took artwork to hang at WTCI today as part of their Artist's Eye program.  We hung work in the
Green Room as well as the entry way.  Working with Beth Neuhoff was a blast...she is so nice and very helpful!

We put work by Georgia Nagle, Trevor Mikula, Susan Doubleday, Lisa Staggs, Lauren Ossolinski, Toby Penney, Moni Hill & myself.  If you have a chance to tour the building, you should!  Other galleries have work in as well...I spotted some from In-Town gallery that looked great!

They'll be filming a segment for An Artist's Eye in the next several week...be on the lookout!

The color of the birch trees is wonderful (shows so much better in real life). The frame is this beautiful wood frame.

This little water piece has great lighting.  Lisa said this might be her favorite piece ever!

Hanover Gallery as a venue...

We are hosting a private party tomorrow (Saturday, Jan. 29) and will be closing at 4 PM.  This reminds me...if you have an event and need a lovely venue, give me a call.  I've reconfigured the gallery for the party so there is plenty of space and a nice traffic flow.  Plus, you know everyone looks great when we turn off the overheads and just use the art lighting!!!

Art Arrives in Virginia!

We happily hang art purchased locally or go help clients find a place for a piece they've fallen in love with.  I love knowing where a piece we loved and selected for the gallery ends up!  We shipped this 48" square piece by Melissa Payne Baker out last week on a long journey to Virginia. It arrived safely yesterday and the happy owner immediately hung it and texted us this pic.  LOVE IT!!!

(Thank you to Jordan at the Hixson UPS location for helping us get it there safely and under the freight requirement!  You were a life saver after our other experience!!!!)
